Run by father and daughter team Jon and Lucy Walters, Proverb2 has been supplying project management services to eCommerce retailers, new business start-ups, website production and creative group projects for seven years.

What makes Proverb2 unique?

We have knowledge of running online retail business and have been managing the building of ecommerce systems since the mid 90’s, providing ecommerce project management solutions to major UK and international retail brand names.

What are your highlights to date?

Working with Radley & Co was a particular highlight. In 2012 we moved the luxury fashion retailer onto an industry standard ecommerce platform. It only took just under four months from start to finish.

We also won our first large local project this year. The project was to migrate the bespoke Redmoped website for Wilkin&Sons onto a fully integrated industry standard ecommerce platform and ERP system in under 4 months.

Have you encountered any challenges?

Running your own business does bring occasional challenges, which we strive to address quickly to ensure the continued smooth operations for our clients.

All the retail customers want all their projects completed by Autumn ready for the Christmas rush.We have addressed this by doubling our work force to two project managers in 2015.

What are the benefits of being based at the Suffolk Enterprise Centre?

We operate from the co-working suite of the Suffolk Enterprise Centre. It offers a vibrant business space, which provides a perfect office solution for small and growing businesses. We have also been able to utilise other available space within the building to suit our business needs. This flexibility allowed us to have a client to spend time working with us throughout an important project.

We also have had the opportunity to work with other companies that are also based here at Felaw Maltings.
