(Part 1 of the course is ideal for anyone who has an iPhone, iPad or Android device.  However if you want to go on to Smartphone Video editing it’s advisable to have access to an Apple device or laptop.)

If you are a small business, a journalist or work in marketing/public relations, video is no longer an option ……… it’s essential.  As the fastest growing marketing tool, it’s a skill that all businesses need to reach new and existing customers via websites and social media.

This workshop is the 2nd part of the Smartphone Video Blogging for Business course and is designed for Apple devices, using iMovie.  As well as gaining an overview of the iMovie application – the timeline, importing video, stills, audio, music – the course covers:

  • Trimming/editing your video clips, splitting clips
  • Video filters, effects and speed
  • Transitions, titles and themes
  • Adding and adjusting audio
  • Building your “story/message”
  • Where to share your video – platforms, channels, essential data

You will need an Apple device – iPhone, iPad, laptop with iMovie installed.  This session will include a practical session bring along a series of clips to edit if you have them.
