IMG_1321Whether you are a freelance worker, working from home or just starting a new business, co-working spaces are becoming more and more popular. They’re starting to be seen as the future for working.

Co-working enables individuals to break free from the confines of their own home or the traditional four wall office and into a collaborative, open plan environment which offers flexibility and a fresh approach in the way we work. Surrounded by passionate, like-minded people, the moment you walk into one of these spaces there is an instant buzz. It creates a positive vibe which is instantly uplifting and motivating.

There are a number of benefits to renting a desk in a co-working space:

  • Cost – Co-working is offered at an all inclusive price which literally allows users to ‘plug and go’, as well as being less expensive than traditional office space, which often come with minimum commitment requirements.
  • Community – These spaces are filled with supportive communities who share knowledge and advice as well as encouraging creative collaboration through their own experiences.
  • Flexibility – With ‘easy in – easy out’ license agreements, co-workers have the flexibility to upsize or downsize to their business requirements with no hassle at all.
  • Increased Productivity – Co-working has been proven to improve work morale and increase work productivity!

Co-working isn’t for everyone, but can also be easily overlooked when seen as just ‘desk space’ – it is has so much more to offer and I highly recommend getting yourself involved and experiencing a day in the life of an avid co-worker!
