The Assembly Rooms in Norwich is a fitting place for local business owners to gather together for a free ‘taster’ session that offers professional business advice and will explain how small businesses can apply for, and benefit from, the Government’s Growth Voucher funding programme.
“We believe that good quality, professional advice is vital in helping businesses across the UK to grow”, says Kevin Horne, CEO of Nwes. “I’d encourage small businesses in the Norwich area to attend the Growth Vouchers event and find out how strategic advice can benefit them and how the Growth Voucher programme can help cover the cost.”
The session is being organised by the Business is GREAT campaign with support from ourselves at Nwes, in our role as a Growth Voucher Delivery Partner. Our intention is to raise awareness about the benefits that a business could receive from receiving a Growth Voucher. Small and medium businesses in the area are invited to drop in to the networking event on Tuesday 25th November between 5 and 7.30pm. There will be the opportunity for businesses to have one-to-one conversations with local Growth Voucher advisers. There will also be the chance to network with other businesses; learn about eligibility; how to apply; and how they can most effectively use Growth Vouchers to grow their business.
The Growth Vouchers scheme was launched earlier this year, and is funded by the Government. The scheme has been implemented to help toward the cost to businesses for professional advice in areas such as finance and cash flow, digital technology, management skills, and sales & marketing, enabling businesses to access up to £2,000 to cover half the cost of the professional advice needed.
The accredited Growth Voucher advisers who are attending the event are:
- Shirley Gabriel and Sue Wiltshire, from SIZ Marketing, who advise on marketing and customer service
- Caroline Rust, from Workshops Work, who advises on leadership and management
- Tracy Cox, from BDO LLP, who advises on finance and cash-flow
- James Allison, from WLP, who advises on leadership and management
Shirley Gabriel from SIZ Marketing says “Everyone needs help and the Growth Vouchers scheme is a great way to help businesses, it really is so important to support the small and medium sized businesses that help to keep the UK economy growing and thriving.”
The event is a drop-in session and there is no charge, but it is recommended that businesses register their interest in advance.
