The winning teams from the Unleashing Enterprise programme, delivered by WOW in association with RBS
RBS Unleashing Enterprise Celebration Event
The Forum in Norwich staged something similar to ‘Dragon’s Den’ on the 2nd December when teams from schools were invited to pitch their enterprise ideas to a panel of judges.
The students had taken part in the Unleashing Enterprise programme funded by RBS over the last two years, and worked hard to promote their ideas by producing brilliant PowerPoint presentations supporting their projects.
With pitches down to a pat, the presentations began and our very own Head of Enterprise Services at NWES, Andrew Wilson, had the difficult task of being on the judge’s panel, together with John Rowe, Business Banking Manager from RBS in Norwich.
The results were finally announced after quite a debate, and the teams took prizes back to their schools:
1st Place: Downham Market Academy with their ‘World War II Bash’ – a 40’s themed festival with all profits going to the charity, Help for Heroes
1st prize – iPad Air
2nd Place: Wymondham High Academy with ‘Yum Fest’ – celebrating food from around the world
2nd prize – Digital camera
3rd Place – Framingham Earl High School with their idea, ‘Haystax’ – an agricultural themed festival
3rd prize – 2 Raspbery Pi
Congratulations to all who took part, and to the winners!
