We’re pleased to announce our free business advice sessions are now available in North Norfolk alongside our other centres in East Anglia.
Supported by North Norfolk District Council, free one-to-one business support sessions will be available at the Council’s offices in Cromer on a regular basis for the remainder of 2016. Those looking to start or grow a business are being urged to take advantage of the free sessions with Nwes Business Advisor, Paul Walmsley.
North Norfolk entrepreneur James Allen has previously benefitted from the support of Nwes. When he saw a gap in the market for a new brand of picnic table, he sought advice to ensure he was able to turn his business dream into reality. Now, Garden HQ Ltd is a unique, thriving business, which addresses the evolving demand for accountability, knowledge and transparency in sourcing and manufacturing.
James believes that North Norfolk residents are stifled by house prices and below-average salaries. He wanted to get ahead in life and give his children the best chance possible. Being his own boss has paved the way for a brighter future for James and his family.
“I decided to go my own way, to be creative, present my wares and hope people like it. This has given me hope for the future and something to be proud of.”
Nwes Business Advisor, Paul Walmsley says “The free one-to-one advice sessions are a valuable opportunity for anyone with similar ambitions to James in North Norfolk. It’s important to seek the right advice to help your business get off the ground and flourish.”
Alongside free business advice, Nwes is also bringing its popular ‘First Steps to Start Up’ workshops to North Norfolk during October and November.
Combined with the Cromer one-to-one business support sessions, there are plenty of opportunities for local people to discuss their business ideas and pick up the skills needed to turn these into reality.
