DWP Self employment workshop

This workshop will cover the following:

• Introduction to LSBC
• Your business idea
• Pros and cons of self-employment
• Introduction to market research
• SWOT analysis
• Business planning
• Personal Survival Budget, start-up and running costs, and cash flow forecast
• Legal structures and registering your business

Eligibility

You need to be in a receipt of one of the following in-work benefits:

Job seekers allowance (JSA),

Income support,

Universal credit,

Employment support allowance (ESA)

You must not be on the Work Programme or be on the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA).

You need to be a resident of one of the following London boroughs:

Newham

Tower Hamlets

Redbridge

Barking & Dagenham

Havering

Waltham Forest

Hackney
