Continuing on the theme of ‘Giving Something Back’, led by CEO Kevin Horne, the staff at Nwes Group, whilst celebrating the Festive Season never forget the spirit of Christmas.
Today was Christmas Jumper day in the Nwes offices. Adorning their seasonal sweaters staff around the centres donated £2 to ‘Save the Children’. At the Norwich Enterprise Centre a raffle was also held to boost funds.
Last week’s Staff Christmas Party also brought out the caring ethos which is so prevalent within the Nwes Group. Donned in costumes representing the swinging 20’s, the Nwes staff partied as only Nwes staff can!
Diane said, “Many kind people have donated prizes to the many quizzes and raffles organised by the Marsh family. We have raised a total of well over £500 so far, and we would like to thank everyone for their very kind donations, including via our Just Giving fundraising page.”
The after dinner exercise came in the form of a game of ‘Heads and Tails’ in which £75 was raised for youth charity MAP. Based in Norfolk, this local charity offers help and support to young people aged 11-25 years through advice, counselling, and youth work.
On receipt of the donation, Clare Franklin, Development Co-ordinator at MAP said, “The funds that you’ve raised will make a huge difference to many young people, giving them access to support as and when they most need it, in a way that works for them. It is not an exaggeration to say that the chances are that the money raised will save lives. And for that we are sincerely grateful.”
