Suffolk Chamber - Free event - Making Your IT & Comms Efficient and Effective

Friday, 27 January 2012

The downturn will have made most businesses take a long hard look at their expenditure, to look critically at their current outgoings and review future spending plans. IT & Communications is an area where businesses can struggle when carrying out such reviews.

The Suffolk Chamber will be hosting a FREE seminar at the NWES managed IP-City Centre which will look at some of the options for smaller businesses, highlighting the benefits of some key technology areas.

The seminar will look at:
  • Getting off to the right start
  • Broadband, and the options now available
  • Maintaining excellent customer service, whether in the office or whilst out and about
  • Driving new business via a professional presence on the web
  • Cost control through bundling services together i.e. calls, lines, broadband & mobiles
The Chamber will then discuss how today’s technologies help growing businesses, especially when employing more people. They will show businesses:
  • How voice and data technologies have merged together through the use of broadband, enabling business to cut costs and drive further efficiencies
  • How you can easily monitor your communications to make sure it’s working properly for you
  • How to enable flexible/home working for your staff
  • How to serve your most profitable customers better
The whole event is designed to be practical and non technical, and is suitable for both small and medium businesses. It will be of specific advantage to those businesses that do not have a formal IT and Communications function.
