Advice

NWES has provided business advice since 1982 and last year we helped 200 established businesses and over 650 businesses to start trading.
We have a large Business Advice Team who have worked with over 10,000 individuals looking to set up in business. Our advice helps develop our client’s business skills so they are more likely to run a successful business. Our advice will be tailored to individual needs but often will include:
  • Business planning
  • Marketing plans and actions
  • Support in preparing finance proposals
  • Identifying cost savings
  • Environmental planning
  • The steps to take in starting-up
Our advice is based on our experiences of business. Our aim is to help you consider how to make the most of your idea and think about areas you might have missed. Our approach is to support you and give you confidence to succeed but this will include challenging you when we think this is needed.

NWES advisers are based throughout the East of England which makes the support convenient to access.

What are the next steps?
For many individuals we are able to provide free business advice but some types of support are only available at cost. Your first step to obtaining some advice is to complete your details online or contact our support team on 0845 60 99 99 1 so we can explain what support would be available. This may be in the form of arranging a one-to-one business advice session or engaging in a telephone conversation with one of our Business Advisers to discuss your requirements and how we can assist you to fulfil your dream of being your own boss.
